I grew up in a small Texas town, got a Master's degree in Acting from the University of Texas, and then worked for NASA as a space shuttle commentator. Went professional in Houston and set my sights on New York City, where I met my future scouser wife. Wrapped up my work in America with roles in Sex and the City and two off-Broadway shows.

...or, God bless the NHS! I took a break from acting to learn to survive as an American in Yorkshire and help set up my wife's travel company. This took me to Ecuador to set up rainforest projects and Vietnam to work at a charity cooking house. With unforgettable stops in Bolivia, Costa Rica, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam along the way.
